Is the upkeep of your home becoming too much? Do you need flexible support that can adapt to your needs as they change? A retirement village may be the best option for you.

Our retirement villages offer self-contained apartments and cottages with 24-hour on-site care and nursing support should you need it. Make your new house a home with your own furniture and decorate it to suit your tastes.

In an Agincare retirement village, you can continue to live independently in your own home, safe in the knowledge that, if your care needs change, help is right next door. Each of our retirement villages are set on the coast and provide spacious accommodation as well as beautiful gardens and communal facilities.

We know how important our companionships with our fluffy friends are. Not only are they part of the family, they also help with mental and physical well-being. This is why we make every effort to keep you and your pets together when you join us.

In our care homes some people like the structure of three-square meals a day, while others prefer to eat smaller portions at mealtimes, and snack in between. When you move in to our home, our chef will spend time getting to know your preferences and favourite dishes.

All our care homes cater for a range of dietary needs, from Coeliac and gluten-free, to vegetarian and vegan. The chefs use local and seasonal ingredients as much as possible in designing their menus. They work hard to create appetising meals which are not only nutritionally-balanced, but delicious too!

Our care and nursing homes have picture and written menus, but we always re-offer before serving, to check our residents haven’t changed their minds about what they’d like to eat.

If you would like to view our home then don’t hesitate to give us a call and we would be happy to arrange a no obligation home visit. Alternatively, we have regular coffee mornings where anyone is able to pop in. This is great opportunity to get to know our team and residents.

Funding may be available from your local authority. Firstly, they will check how much help and what kind of care you need: this is called a care needs assessment. Following on from that, the free financial assessment will calculate the total cost of care and how much you’ll need to contribute. During the financial assessment it’s important to be open and honest about all your assets, so everything can be taken into consideration.

If you don’t want a financial assessment you can choose to pay for your care home yourself – this is called self-funding.
