Support for younger adults with complex needs

Enable supports people who may have a learning disability, autistic spectrum condition, and physical disability, particularly where this presents in a complex way.

Our integrated pathway of services includes day support, community outreach, respite and supported living.

As part of Agincare, a well-established support provider, we’re able to draw on experience built up across a range of services over more than 30 years.

Supported living

We’ll support you to have greater choice and control over your life.

You’ll have the space, support and control you need to develop your skills, work towards your goals, and be as independent as you can.

Depending on your needs, likes and aspirations, we can support you with:

  • Developing independent living skills
  • Planning menus, shopping and cooking
  • Personal care
  • Building and maintaining your social networks
  • Travel training
  • Being part of your local community
  • Budgeting skills
  • Getting to appointments
  • Managing your medication
  • Joining in with leisure activities
  • Accessing education, training and work experience opportunities

Communication is at the heart of our work. We use assistive technology to support people to develop their ability to communicate. For example, an innovative tool called Proloquo2Go on an iPad supports people to make choices around the care and support they receive and the activities they want to be involved in.

Enable locality manager, Leanne Stockwell:

What do I like most about my job? I take pride in seeing the difference that we’re making to the people we support – the improvement and the joy and happiness our service users get from their sense of achievement.
