Leading independent care provider Agincare has officially commenced operations at three care homes in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, marking the beginning of a new partnership with the local authority (1/7).
The family-owned provider has taken responsibility for care services and facilities management at Whitefarm Lodge Care Home in Twickenham, Greville House Care Home in Richmond, and Laurel Dene Care Home (pictured below) in Hampton. Agincare has worked closely with the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames to ensure a smooth transition takes place for all involved at the homes, which can together support 218 publicly funded and self-funded residents.
The handover has seen over 300 team members transfer to Agincare. As part of the transfer, Agincare is pleased to announce that they will increase pay across the homes to ensure the London Living Wage is paid as a minimum.
