Agincare Heroes

Celebrating those who go above and beyond!

We employ more than 3,000 people across the country and can easily say that we are incredibly proud of each and every one of you!

Together, you support thousands of people aged 16 and above, improving their quality of life through a broad range of care services.

Social care has been in the spotlight throughout Covid and the pressure on colleagues and clients has been immeasurable. This has been an extraordinary time, which has highlighted that social care workers are often the ‘forgotten heroes’.

What is Agincare Heroes?

Agincare Heroes is a new annual award to recognise team members who go above and beyond. Whether it be a single act of kindness, bravery or selflessness,  anyone  can be nominated for an award.

Nominations will be judged by our founder and Chairman, Derek Luckhurst and CEO, Raina Summerson after the deadline of 1 September 2021. Some nominees will then be awarded a prestigious Agincare Heroes medal.

Derek Luckhurst, Agincare Chairman said:

“Every role at Agincare is integral to delivering support to those who we care for. The professionalism and dedication of our team members are the reason our client feedback is consistently positive, but, we want to acknowledge and give special thanks to those who go the extra mile.  Agincare Heroes will recognise and reward all manner of great service, from life-enhancing consistent care through to single acts of kindness, bravery or selflessness.”

Raina Summerson, Agincare CEO added:

“We know how lucky we are to have such committed employees here at Agincare, and we want to shine a spotlight on those who go that one step further to ensure a high standard of care is delivered to our service users. If you know someone in the team who has gone that extra mile for you or a loved one, please nominate them for an Agincare Heroes award!
