Following Agincare’s acquisition of the majority of services from Ambient Support in October 2025, we are now completing migration of the Ambient website into Agincare.com
As result the Ambient website will begin shutting down on 23 June, with completion expected by the following morning with pages redirected to relevant Agincare webpages.
This marks an important step in creating a more unified and accessible digital presence. By bringing Ambient services into agincare.com, we are making it easier for people we support, their families, carers and professionals to find clear, up-to-date information about the care and support available.
What this means…
- Key content, including service pages, has already been successfully migrated to agincare.com
- The Ambient website will begin shutting down on 23 June, with full redirection expected by the following morning
- ambient.org.uk will be closed, with all pages redirected to relevant Agincare content
- Where new Agincare pages exist, they will directly replace the Ambient versions (for example, the Ambient’s Dora Matthews House web page now points to a new Agincare page)
- The Amber Housing website will continue to operate independently, with no changes along with the transfer of its subsidiary housing provider, Amber Housing Ltd,
- No personal data has been transferred or is affected
- There are no changes to services or continuity of care for those we support
