Home / News / Making merry in our care homes at Christmas!
It really has been the most wonderful time of the year! Trees, gifts and delicious food are always a big part of the festive magic for care homes at Christmas – not to mention family.
Our care homes truly are families of their own, but after the restrictions of last year it’s clear how important visits from loved ones are. It is with absolute delight that we can report that our teams have facilitated a record-breaking 1,114 safe care home visits – in this last week alone!
There’s much more to celebrate, and the joy shared between residents and care teams has been heart-warming to see – so here’s some for you!
Dressing the part for care homes at Christmas
St Peter’s Park, our Bexhill care home (above) and Gorseway Manor, our Hayling Island care home (below) embraced the holiday in style! Teams dressed up as Christmas icons, and residents were keen to join in the fun.
A holly jolly Christmas!
Cheriton, our care home in Dorchester, got into the groove while rocking around the Christmas tree! What’s Christmas without a little Mariah?
From Edgehill care home in Swindon (above) to Blenheim care home in Bournemouth (below) and all across the country, comfort and joy have been everywhere. Seeing our residents smile, laugh, dance and be merry has made this another truly special Christmas.
Our teams have been stars all year round, not just on the Christmas tree! We thank each and every person for making this magic happen – and here’s to a wonderful new 2022!
Happy New Year!
