If you think domiciliary care could help you or a loved-one live independently at home - either right now, or in the future - call us on 01249 652111.

Hundreds of clients and their families have already chosen us. We hope these snapshots of our care workers give you an insight into how they go the extra mile:

  • One of our service users had been having problems with her television but hates flat screens and wouldn’t let her daughter install the new one she had bought. Our carer Yvonne found someone giving an old CRT TV away on Facebook, so arranged to collect it, take it round to the service user and set it up for her during her break
  • A service user was becoming socially isolated, so her carer Tracy found a local church which holds coffee mornings. Tracy made time at the end of her visit to drop the lady off at the church and then went back later to pick her up
  • The husband of one of our service users has said that our carer Liz has been a mentor for him, helping him better understand his wife’s conditions and improve the care he gives her when we aren’t around
  • Our carer worker Caroline gave up her day off to do all the visits for an end of life gentleman as she knew he did not have long left. Caroline wanted to make sure that he was comfortable and that his family was well supported
  • One of our care workers Natalia went in to a service user to find her distressed and confused and not understanding where she was. Natalia stayed an hour over her time reassuring the lady and calming her down while waiting for her family to arrive

But don’t just take our word for it. Here’s what people say about our home care workers and service:

  • "I am happy with Agincare because the carers are always on time, efficient and cheerful, whatever they are faced with. We often have a laugh together which helps me cope with my disability."
  • "The office workers are willing to cover calls when carers are not available, which means they keep in touch with the service user and their family."
  • "I hear all sorts of terrible stories from my peers about their carers being different every day, being late and sometimes not turning up at all. I’m glad I’m with Agincare.”
  • "My care workers are very good, I have had two of my carers visit me for more than six years - I have good continuity of care."
  • "I have a good rapport with the office staff and know if I have any queries they are approachable and quick to respond."

Meet our domiciliary care registered manager, Caroline Evans

“We have a fantastic team here at the Chippenham branch. Since taking over as branch manager last year I have found them all to be so caring and supportive. They are all willing to go the extra mile to help those that we care for. I’m incredibly proud of them all.”

The office is open Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm. There is also a contact number for out of hours emergencies.
