Agincare Leominster is based in the centre of Leominster and is part of the Agincare group. The branch covers Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Shropshire and all surrounding areas and villages, with services delivered both under contract with the local authority and on a private basis. Working closely with service users, their family/representatives, local authority, supporting agencies and health professionals, Agincare Leominster aims to ensure that service users' rights, choices, dignity, respect and privacy are maintained, whilst keeping them safe, ensuring wellbeing and therefore enabling them to remain in their own homes as independently and for as long as possible.
Agincare Leominster provides services to older people with a variety of needs relating to physical health or disability, learning disability, mental health problems and dementia. Our aim is to provide a quality service that is person-centred and meets your every need. Our multi-trained staff are on hand to ensure that the best possible care is given, with respect and dignity, and with consideration for your personal preferences.
Our office team consists of the Branch Manager Robert Hedley, Deputy Manager Clare Dixon, Care Coordinators Fiona Layton and Debi Morris, Admin Coordinator Sue Jackson and Field Care Supervisor Lorraine Davies. We have 73 care workers who work to provide a high standard care service. Care workers employed with Agincare follow a rigorous recruitment programme, with checks on employment history, professional references and enhanced DBS checks obtained. All care workers have an initial 3 day induction course, followed by ongoing training programmes and updates throughout their employment. All staff are encouraged to begin working towards their Diplomas in Care. Our staff are supported in their work by our dedicated office team and support from head office management services.
