Care Services

The types of care and support services we provide are person-centred, enabling and promote independence at all times. The provision of care and support will be flexible and tailored to you. The initial meeting between Agincare and yourself will be to discuss your person-centred care and support plan and will help to identify and develop the service we will provide to you, including: how many staff you require; the training and knowledge base of the care worker team, and the outcomes you wish to achieve. This meeting will be undertaken in your own home or alternative place of your choosing, in an appropriate format to ensure you are able to fully participate. You are able, if you wish, to undertake this process with the support of any relatives, or an advocate.

We will ensure that you are in control of the process and have choices regarding the development of your person-centred care and support plan, ensuring that your right to dignity is fully respected, and confidentiality maintained. Following on from this meeting your care file, located in your home, includes all the information relevant to your agreed care and support, along with information regarding our service, how to make a complaint, what to do in an emergency and other key policies and appropriate contact details. To ensure that we are maintaining a high level of service to you, we have in place various established methods of gaining your feedback. These include spot checks, telephone and written satisfaction surveys, review meetings, forums and team meetings.

Additionally throughout the course of our delivery of care and support your care workers will undertake regular informal reviews with you and may make minor adjustments to service provision, where it is mutually agreed that this will be of benefit. At all times you are able to contact your local branch and speak to the Registered Manager using the contact details located on this document and in your home care file.
