Agincare is one of England’s largest and longest-standing family-owned care providers, delivering trusted, person-centred care for almost 40 years. Today, we support more than 6,000 people nationwide through 150 CQC registered services, backed by a workforce of over 5,000 dedicated care professionals.

Our breadth of provision spans care and nursing homes, live in care, home care, extra care housing, children’s services, and supported living. This range gives us the flexibility, clinical oversight and continuity needed to support people with highly complex, long term or fluctuating needs.

For case managers, solicitors, insurers and commissioners, we understand the pressure of securing clinically robust, cost-effective and sustainable care packages for clients following catastrophic or life-changing injury.

Agincare meets a gap in the market. Few providers combine specialist complex-care capability with the governance, resilience and nationwide reach of a major organisation. We do both. Our local teams deliver personalised, consistent care, while our national infrastructure provides the assurance, stability and quality oversight professionals depend on.

Our structure allows us to combine local knowledge with national infrastructure, offering a level of responsiveness, governance, and sustainability rarely matched in the catastrophic injury care sector.

National reach with local delivery, offering operational coverage across England through regional hubs that ensure continuity and community connection.

Clinically led governance with oversight from Registered Nurses and Clinical Leads to maintain safety and quality in complex care.

Transparent outcomes demonstrating measurable improvements in independence, wellbeing, and cost-effectiveness.

Ethically independent as a family-owned organisation focused on clinical need rather than investor return.

Responsible and sustainable delivery, with awareness of growing demand and budget pressures.

Additional Value for Legal Professionals

Beyond delivering care, Agincare adds measurable professional value in the following areas:

Advocacy & Negotiation

  • Active advocacy with commissioners to secure appropriate, cost-effective arrangements (e.g. challenging inefficient council funding).
  • Willingness to present alternative models that prioritise client outcomes and family stability.

Multi-Agency Fluency

  • Skilled coordination with social services, NHS teams, safeguarding bodies, and police protocols.
  • Reduces transition delays and ensures continuity across complex systems.

Cost Efficiency & NHS Savings

  • Proven ability to generate NHS savings through stable care and reablement.
  • Live-in models provide cost-effective alternatives to multiple hourly care rotas.

Workforce Professional Depth

  • Workforce includes Registered Nurses, internationally trained nurses, and a paramedic within live-in teams.
  • Enables higher-acuity care without immediate escalation to nursing placements.

Life Outcomes Beyond Health

  • Evidence of broader, court-relevant outcomes: independent travel, parenting support, budgeting, and community reintegration.

Contractual Flexibility

  • Flexible contracting that aligns with interim payments and evolving case needs.
  • Low contractual risk for commissioners and funders.

We welcome the opportunity to collaborate with you in supporting catastrophic injury clients. At Agincare, we understand the complexity of these cases and the importance of delivering care that is clinically safe, cost-effective, and person-centred.

Adams Story

I’ve always known that life can change in an instant, but it first hit home many years ago when my dad was involved in a serious accident. Twenty one years later, my friend Grant suffered a catastrophic injury that resulted in a brain injury. Although I wasn’t directly involved in a lot of Grant’s care, I saw the impact it had on him and those around him, and I was very aware of the challenges he faced. Those two moments, separated by more than two decades yet equally life changing, have shaped how I see the world and the work I do today.

When you’ve witnessed people you care about go through such profound and difficult experiences, it makes you reflect on what really matters and just how vital the right care and support can be.

Over the years, Agincare has raised thousands of pounds for the charities that supported Grant and so many others. That journey inspired us to create our catastrophic injury partnership. As someone who owns a care company, I’m grateful to be in a position to make a meaningful difference. These experiences, stretched across much of my life, have made me more determined than ever to help people navigating incredibly challenging times.

Ultimately, I just want to ensure people receive the care and support they need when it matters most, because I’ve seen first hand the difference that good care can make.
