Family-owned leading care provider Agincare is excited to announce the acquisition of care homes Critchill Court in Frome and Sunnymeade in Chard from Somerset Care Limited (29/4).
The two homes join Agincare’s growing network of 29 high-quality residential care and nursing homes nationwide, including Beaufort Park Retirement Village in Burnham-on-Sea in Somerset. It also operates 12 care homes, supported living, home, live-in and extra care services across Wiltshire and Dorset.

Beaufort Park Retirement Village in Burnham-on-Sea and Furlong Close supported living community in Rowde were at risk of closure before being transferred to Agincare and are now once again thriving places for people to live.

Critchill Court care home in Frome
Our care home in Frome, Critchill Court, is a purpose-built residential home, located away from the main road on the peaceful south-westerly side of the market town of Frome. The home comprises of two wings with a total of 46 furnished bedrooms for those living at the home, each with ground floor access to the garden and courtyard. .
Sunnymeade Care Home in Chard
Our care home in Chard, Sunnymeade is a beautiful and vibrant care home, situated close to the town of Chard; with shops and other local amenities within easy reach. Accommodation at Sunnymeade Care Home comprises of bedrooms for 50 people in five separate ground floor spaces with their own lounge, dining room and kitchenette which residents and their guests can use. Each of the bedrooms is fitted with a nurse call system and has direct access to the colourful communal gardens.
