Thank you to everyone that responded to the short survey about Covid-19 that was included in our eNewsletter to clients, families and friends recently (5 February).
2021 remains a challenging year, and the well-being of our residents and clients remains uppermost in our minds, so we wanted to just ask how people were feeling right now, and how we are doing.
Agincare Chief Executive Raina Summerson said:
Thank you to everyone that took the time to complete the quick survey.
It was pleasing to find that people who responded were overwhelmingly satisfied with our response to Covid-19, but we always want to listen and continually improve what we do. In such difficult times, and across our services, individual experiences can be very different.
We understand how important visits are for loved ones in a care or nursing home, and that came across loud and clear in comments submitted as part of the survey too. Visit are important to us too. We are committed to working with families to look at individual circumstances and welcome safe visits wherever possible.
We know that communication with people receiving care and support from all of our services, and their families and carers, is key. The response by our care teams to the vaccination programme is progressing well, with more and more of our team members being vaccinated every day.
Thank you to everyone that included additional comments, which we will take on board, here’s a selection…
‘You are doing a wonderful job in difficult circumstances. Sincere thanks to you all.’
‘My mother receives live in care at home and I have been very impressed by the care and professionalism of the current care workers and local manager. Previous occasional issues have been dealt with quickly and efficiently.’
‘I think you are doing a fantastic job in very difficult circumstances. The regular updates are very welcome too. Keep up the good work and stay safe.’
We know that sometimes that there are concerns too. Please never hesitate to contact your local office or care home if you are worried, or have any questions or comments whatsoever, about care being delivered by Agincare.
Every year we carry out a comprehensive satisfaction survey about our services. We do this because we genuinely want to hear opinions and use what we are told us to make our care even better.
Despite the pandemic, 2020 results were pleasing and included:
