New regional care office opens in Harrogate

The Mayor of the Borough of Harrogate, Councillor Trevor Chapman, has officially opened our new regional head office in Harrogate, which brings high quality, person-centred home care and live in-care services to the north of England.
The Bower Road office is home to our fourth regional team, joining other Agincare bases in the southwest, southeast and central areas of England. Our professional team deliver high quality 24-hour live-in care and home care services, supporting people to live independently in the comfort and safety of their own home.
The Mayor of the Borough of Harrogate, Councillor Trevor Chapman (pictured above opening the new office) said:

The office’s Live-in Care Manager Karen Harding and Home Care Manager Jane Edwards together possess over 50 years’ experience of working in social care settings across Harrogate and Yorkshire. Karen who hails from Harrogate said:
Being the Registered Manager of a brand new regional head office in my home town is very exciting. It is amazing to be able to play such an important role in Agincare’s expansion, which will bring personalised care and support to people across the north of England.
Expanding Agincare care services in the north

About home care
Home care sees a care worker visit people regularly in their own home to provide personalised care and support depending on each individual’s situation. For example, it may include helping them get up and about in morning, taking medication or assisting with personal care and social activities.
About live-in care
When more support is required, a professional live-in care worker comes to live in a person’s own home, supporting them with 24-hour care in the safety and comfort of their own surroundings. Each person has complete control over who comes to live in their home, with the level of support entirely tailored to their individual needs.
