Agincare is committed to being a front-runner in providing excellent dementia care.
We are proud that Agincare was the first care company in the UK to employ a Consultant Admiral Nurse providing specialist dementia support. The role focuses on working collaboratively with Agincare staff and other professionals to improve the quality of life for people with dementia and their carers.
Now we’ve decided to build on our Admiral Nurse experience and develop our own in-house Agincare specialist dementia nurse role.
This key position issues strategic, professional, clinical leadership and consultancy in care and nursing practice throughout Agincare and with partner providers of health and social care.
It also influences training and education programmes right across Agincare, to increase awareness and promote best practice in dementia care.
