We provide high-quality affordable residential, respite, palliative and end-of life care for people living with dementia and cognitive impairment.

We have two comfortable lounges and a dining room on the ground floor, which are perfect for chatting and joining in activities. We’ve also got a smaller, quieter lounge upstairs, which is great for when people come to visit.

Social activities

We place great emphasis on social activities and maintaining the type of life you have had at home, whether that is a quiet and relaxed lifestyle or an active lifestyle.

Dining

At Trafalgar Care Home you will be served freshly prepared home cooked meals by our team of expert chefs. They ensure all our meals are healthy, nutritionally balanced and, most importantly, locally sources wherever possible. Meals are served in our superb dining room, but you also have the option for food to be served in your room for a more private dining experience.

Nutrition is an important part of the care we provide. That’s why our catering team take time to get to know your likes and dislikes before putting together a vibrant and varied menu for you to choose from.

Bedrooms

There are 26 bedrooms for people living at Trafalgar Care Home, including three able to accomodate couples across the ground floor and the first floor. Our first floor is fully accessible, by stairs or a lift. Many of our bedrooms look out onto one of our stunning gardens.

The bedrooms are a blank canvas for you to personalise with your own photos, pictures and furniture to help you feel at home. It also helps our care team understand what’s important to you, help in building a warm relationship.

Gardens

We have lawned gardens at the front and the back of the home. There’s plenty of space to sit outside – and we put a gazebo up in the summer when it’s sunny.

On a sunny day, residents always enjoy sitting at our outdoor features, seeing the seasonal flowers, and taking a stroll across the grass.
