Zoe takes the helm at our Weymouth care home Trafalgar

Published: Friday 22nd October 2021

Zoe Price is the new manager of our Weymouth Care Home Trafalgar on Dorchester Road.

She steps into the role following retirement of the previous manager, and joins from Trafalgar’s sister home, Cheriton in Dorchester, where she held the post of Deputy Manager.  A stint as a care worker in 2005 in her native home of Gwent in Wales, ignited Zoe’s passion and she found her vocation for care as a result.

Zoe says:

On my very first day as a care worker I loved it, and I knew it was the career for me.

I love what I do, and wouldn’t change it for the world. It’s so rewarding, the smallest things absolutely make your day.

Zoe has worked in a variety of care homes in different roles, gaining experience and progression as a senior care worker and team leader before joining Cheriton Care Home in 2016. On joining Trafalgar Care Home, Zoe said:

I am incredibly excited to have joined the team at Trafalgar as Home Manager.

No two days are ever the same, and I feel privileged to be a part of our residents’ lives. My aim is to provide the same kindness and care that I would for my most treasured relative.

I find my role very rewarding, and going home feeling like I have made a difference to someone’s day just fills me full of happiness.
