An exciting future lies ahead for Cheriton, our CQC ‘Good’-rated care Care Home in Dorchester, following the arrival of new Registered Manager Helen Persey.
Before joining Cheriton Care Home, Helen was Head of Community Services in West Dorset for Dorset HealthCare, managing teams across the county, including at hospitals and community care.
Previously, Helen had embarked on a long and rewarding career as a trained physiotherapist, helping patients across the South West.
Ably supported by Assistant Managers Sam Fidler and Kelly-Marie Murton, Helen had only kind words of thanks for the hard-working Cheriton team:
“I had worked alongside Agincare in my previous career and was attracted to apply for the position of Registered Manager because of their progressive and dynamic approach to care, and the fact the organisation is still family-run after 36 years.”
“Having worked in the healthcare industry for most of my professional life, I am very impressed with the high standard of care at Cheriton Care Home and will continue to uphold its good reputation in the community.”
Delighted with Helen’s appointment is Tim Buckley, Chief Operating Officer of Agincare Homes:
“It’s simply brilliant to have Helen joining us as the new Registered Manager at Cheriton Care Home.
“I know her skills, experience and leadership will be absolutely second to none!”
