Events, activities and trips out are a way of life, and with no set visiting times, friends and family are always welcome. Our home boasts lovely interiors, cosy rooms, spacious common areas, and intimate lounges. We are fortunate enough to have a beautiful garden which is a great place to watch our wildlife and have afternoon tea.
Our home provides 24-hour a day tailored care in a home-from-home setting, which you are encouraged to personalise and make your own. This helps our care team understand what’s important to you.
Social activities
We place great emphasis on social activities and maintaining the type of life you have had at home, whether that is quiet and relaxed or an active lifestyle.
We have our very own library which is very popular for those who would rather have a relaxing afternoon as opposed to one of our many activities or day trips.
We host a variety of social events which include themed restaurant evenings, arts and crafts, quizzes, and regular entertainers.
Treat yourself to pamper days at our on-site beauty and hair salon followed by an afternoon in one of our roomy communal lounges where you can chill out and have a good time with friends and family.
Dining
At Bluegrove House Care Home you will be served freshly prepared home cooked meals by our team of expert chefs. They ensure all our meals are healthy, nutritionally balanced and, most importantly, locally sourced wherever possible.
Meals are served in any of our three superb dining rooms, but you also have the option for food to be served in your room for a more private dining experience.
Bedrooms
We have 48 bedrooms for people living at Bluegrove House, with a range of room sizes. The majority of rooms have ensuites and others have en-suite wet rooms. The rooms without ensuites have accessible toilets, bathrooms or wet rooms within easy reach.
Most of the bedrooms on the ground floor have direct access to our garden, with room for a table and chairs and our first-floor rooms have beautiful views of our garden and London’s skyline.
Gardens
Our home boasts beautiful gardens that are secure and enclosed. These outdoor spaces are equipped with planters and flower beds to indulge in your love for gardening and relish home-grown vegetables. The outdoor seating areas provide ample room to relax and soak up the sun’s warmth.

Mum became a resident in December 2022. I was very impressed when I visited to see what Bluegrove was like. Mum is well looked after, the staff are caring and friendly. She is now enjoying the company and taking part in activities and enjoys chatting to everyone. She has settled in well. Also, the staff talk to us about how she is doing and let us know if there are any problems. Cannot praise them enough. Best choice we made as a family, to get her here.’

I am very happy with Bluegrove House as a home for my good friend. The staff are warm and friendly and make an extra effort to make sure that she is well and her needs are met. They are careful at keeping an eye on any changes to her health and any concerns have been attended to promptly and recorded. My friend loves the food there and her room. I am always happy to see members of staff making her smile.

My Nan was in another care home but was not happy there. Since arriving at Bluegrove House she has been thriving and is really enjoying her days here. It’s such a relief to see her happy and cared for. The staff are extremely caring, engaging and supportive. She is enjoying the facilities and activities and so my nan and her family could not be more pleased. Thank you!

Frequently asked questions
Funding may be available from your local authority. Firstly, they will check how much help and what kind of care you need: this is the needs assessment. Following on from that, the free financial assessment calculates the total cost of care and how much you’ll need to contribute.
If you don’t want a financial assessment you can choose to pay for your care home yourself – this is called self-funding.
Here at Bluegrove House we offer tailored 24-hour a day respite care that allows you to continue living life your way with as much support you may need from our care team.
This could be a one-off stay, to give a regular family carer a much-needed break, or a regular arrangement to give you variety in your care. Our personalised care can last as long as you need it to and can start within 24-hours.
Our bespoke care and support is available for a single weekly fee. That includes care, accommodation, laundry, meals, housekeeping, social outings and more.
That means no additional charges or hidden fees, just consistent, all-inclusive support for a weekly fee.
When you move in to our home, you have the option to enjoy mealtimes in the communal areas with other residents, or to enjoy some private time in your room.
Our expert chefs prepare a daily menu with nutritious options for you to choose from based on your likes and dislikes. What’s more, our care teams are always on hand to support and encourage you at mealtimes, ensuring you get the nutrition and hydration needed.
If you would like to view our home then don’t hesitate to give us a call and we would be happy to arrange a no obligation home visit. Alternatively, we have regular coffee mornings where anyone is able to pop in. This is great opportunity to get to know our team and residents.
Once you become a resident at our home, there are no set visiting hours, so your family and friends are free to come and go as much as they want.
Prior to your move in to our home, you’ll receive a free no obligation care assessment so we can understand your care needs and create a care plan that suits you best. Your family is welcome to join this process. This allows us to create a bespoke care package that allows you to have the best quality of life.
Plus, through our portal, you and your loved ones can easily check on your care with real-time updates on medication, nutrition, welfare, and more. Read notes from our care teams and keep tabs on the care you receive—all at the click of a button.
