We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Cook to join our dedicated, passionate team in our Rosecourt Care Home, Southwark, London.

£500 welcome bonus available!

About the role

Rose Court Care Home has 64 beds, a CQC rating of “Good” and is set in a vibrant city location. Rose Court care home is close to local services and amenities, such as Surrey Quays, local parks and Lewisham shopping centre.

As a Deputy Cook you will manage the preparation and the delivery of all meals within the Home, ensuring that any special dietary requirements are catered for.

Meals will be presented and prepared to an excellent standard and quality. You will create and maintain cooking and cleaning regimes for all areas of the kitchen in line with the Health and Safety and Company guidelines to ensure safe working practice within the home.

About you

• Previous catering experience is essential - preferably in a care home setting, however this isn't essential
• Excellent cooking skills with understanding of dietary requirements including intolerances and allergies is essential in this role
• Outstanding attention to detail is essential in this role
