Who we are

Training Now is an up and coming Nationwide training provider specialising in Apprenticeships, short courses and professional development. Following obtaining a contract for AEB we are looking to further expand our team.

We are seeking Health and Social Care Apprenticeship Assessors, able to deliver up to L5 who will provide education and training to our apprentices and AEB leaners via a blended learning approach.

Our Assessors are responsible for creating individualised, unique journeys for a caseload/cohort of apprentices/learners, recognising and tailoring the delivery to match learners’ identified needs and requirements so that all our apprentices/learners have an excellent learning experience.

Our Assessors, are responsible for managing their own apprenticeship caseloads and/or groups of learners, plan and deliver excellent learning and complete qualifications by the agreed planned end dates, meeting the KPI’s below and maintaining strong compliance.

About the Role

In this role you will be responsible for

·  Provide excellent teaching, learning and assessment opportunities for a caseload of allocated apprentices or classes of learners.

·  Manage a caseload of apprentices/learners ensuring they remain on track with their learning programme and any slippage or issues are escalated to their Quality and Learning Manager in a timely manner.

·  Plan and carry out monthly learning sessions with your allocated caseload of apprentices or delivery group classes as directed by the Senior Leadership Team.

·  Deliver new skills, knowledge and behaviours to apprentices and learners in accordance to their needs, planning differentiation based on the results of their initial and diagnostic assessments.

·  Plan and execute the delivery of Functional Skills.

About You

  • Hold a qualification of Level 5  in Health and Social Care or have the occupational competence of being a Registered Manager/ Deputy Manager
  • Hold an Assessor qualification such as D32/33/TAQA or be willing to work towards
  • GCSE Grade A*-C in English, Maths, and IT or equivalent Level 2 Functional Skills
  • Outstanding organisational skills
  • The ability to take ownership, accountability, and responsibility
  • Excellent networking and relationship building skill
  • Please note, as part of the shortlisting process, a digital footprint check will be conducted on candidates selected for interview to ensure that they are safe to work with ‘at-risk’ adults
