Training Now is an up and coming Nationwide training provider specialising in Health and Social Care Apprenticeships, short courses and professional development. Due to our continued success and recent ‘Good’ from Ofsted we are looking to further expand our team.
We are seeking a Level 5 Health and Social Care apprenticeship assessor to provide education and training to our apprentices. Developing their skills, knowledge and behaviours as part of our Health and Social Care apprenticeships suite.
You will plan and deliver inspiring and challenging teaching sessions on a 121 or group basis that develops and inspires our apprentices to achieve their aspirations for learning or employment.

About the Role
In this role you will be responsible for
- Creating an individualised, unique learner journey for a caseload of apprentices
- Be passionate about delivering a high-quality teaching and learning experience for all learners.
- Have expert knowledge of the Health and Social Care sector and experience of teaching and assessing with the ability to support learners to understand and embed key concepts.
- Be able to offer the necessary support and Information, advice, and guidance to ensure the needs of all learners are met and they progress to positive destinations.
- Have high attention to detail and ensure we remain compliant with all our regulatory bodies.
- Build relationships with and liaise with employers to review progress and plan On The Job activities
About You
- Hold at least a level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care
- Hold an Assessor qualification such as D32/33/TAQA or be willing to work towards
- Minimum Level 3 professional teaching qualification (PTLLS teaching qualification or equivalent) or be willing to work towards
- GCSE Grade A*-C in English, Maths, and IT or equivalent Level 2 Functional Skills
- Outstanding organisational skills
- The ability to take ownership, accountability, and responsibility
- Excellent networking and relationship building skill
