Due to the hugely successful growth of Agincare, we are looking to expand our payroll team by appointing a payroll officer to join our team. If you’re a highly organised ‘people person’ and you’re looking for a payroll role in a sector that makes a difference, we look forward to hearing from you.

Payroll Officer

Salary: A salary of between £22,000 & £25,000 per annum is available subject to the successful candidate’s relevant experience.

Hours: Permanent Contract, 40 hours per week, Full time.

About the Role

The role of Payroll Assistant is to ensure the processing of fortnightly and monthly payrolls, in a timely and consistent manner We welcome applicants wishing to work full time or part time. Working as part of the payroll team;

You will primarily

  • Using SAGE payroll to process starters, leavers and update any changes required.
  • Processing sickness information ensure details are logged and pay is correct.
  • Extract data from payroll to provide reports to the wider business as required.
  • Processing RTI and pensions information.

As well as:

  • Assisting with processing queries and setting up payments of beneficiaries
  • Ensuring the time and attendance system is checked and correct.
  • Processing the mileage and importing the files to sage
  • Liaise with other internal teams regularly and professionally at all times.

You will be:

  • Ideally have experience on a fast paced, busy payroll department
  • Experience in sage
  • Flexible in your approach to work
  • A willingness to improve processes.
