Delivering quality care for over 30 years

You are here

We are committed to delivering high quality, up-to-date training to all our live-in care staff. Whether you’re new to the Care Industry, or already have extensive relevant experience, we can provide you with the training you need to further develop your career with us.

Induction Training

All newly recruited Care Workers must complete our 3-day Induction Course, regardless of whether you have previous Care Industry experience. This ensures all our Care Workers have the necessary knowledge and practical skills needed to undertake a Live In Care placement.

The Induction Course covers the following modules:

  • Professional practice in health and social care
  • Principles for implementing duty of care
  • Person centred support
  • Communicate effectively
  • Equality, diversity & social care
  • Safeguarding in health & social care
  • Health & safety in health and social care and domestic settings
  • Personal development
  • Moving & Handling

In addition to the above the induction will also include training on the following subjects:

  • Health & Safety
  • POVA
  • Fire Safety
  • Infection Control
  • Food Hygiene

This information can also be downloaded and completed via a log-in to our Training Portal that you will be given on commencement of employment with us. In addition to the above, you will receive an introduction to the Company and have the opportunity to speak to other Care Workers and fully qualified Health & Social Care staff, should you have any questions during the course of the induction training.

On-going Training & Development

We encourage all our Care Workers to participate in ongoing training to enhance personal development and future career prospects. To help facilitate this, we offer a wide range of training courses and tools such as e-learning and training packs. This diversity enables you to gain a diverse range of skills and knowledge that may be needed when caring for Clients with very specific and varied care needs.

On gaining employment with us, you will be given access to our Online Training Library. This will enable you to download a variety of training packs on specialist care-related subjects and this will be updated on an ongoing basis.
