Learning disabilities – care and support for younger adults

We understand that learning disabilities and Autistic spectrum conditions (ASC) can make aspects of life challenging. That’s why we’re here to help.

There are a variety of causes for learning disabilities, and the effects will differ from person to person. As a result, we know that the priority is person-first, tailored care for each individual. Our teams are highly experienced in supporting people with a range of needs. This is because we’ve been working with people with learning disabilities for many years.

When these conditions present as a part of a complex set of needs, our Enable service is designed with you in mind. We have the skills and experience to support you in living life to the full, in the comfort of your own home.

Our person-centred approach means that we take the time to get to know you individually and understand your needs.

You can ask us to help you a little, or a lot. It can be in your family home, or helping you live on your own. It’s about living life with the same choice, rights and responsibilities as anyone else. We’ll work with you to find the support that’s right for you.

Our teams receive ongoing training to provide you with the best support and assistance so that you can to live an active and independent life. If your learning disability or ASC is part of a wider group of complex needs, we have the skills and experience to support you through our Enable service.

All our care and support staff complete the nationally recognised care certificate. Specific client needs-led training is taught by our training partner Training Now and healthcare professionals.
