Epilepsy – care and support for younger adults

We understand that managing epilepsy can be challenging – that’s why we’re here to help.

Because epilepsy can manifest mainly through a variety of different seizures, we never take a one-size-fits-all approach. Our care workers put people first. In order to make this happen, we work with you to create care plan as individual as you are.

Our person-centred approach means that we take the time to get to know and understand your specific needs. If you have a wider group of needs – which can make support requirements more complex – our Enable service is also ready to help.

Your plan will be led by you – your lifestyle, likes, dislikes and medical requirements. Our goal is to support you in living as independently as possible, in the comfort of your own home.

Your support assistant will be carefully matched to you and will help with medication management as well as providing physical support.

Additionally, our Enable service is specifically designed to offer the skills and experience to support you if your epilepsy presents alongside other complex needs.

All our care and support staff complete the nationally recognised care certificate. Specific client needs-led training is taught by our training partner Training Now and healthcare professionals.
