Agincourt Care Home was established in 1986 as the first home in the Agincare group. Since then we have expanded to include over 80 locations nationwide, yet Agincourt maintains a special place in our history and portfolio. The care home boasts spacious communal areas and beautiful gardens in a home-from-home setting with events, activities and trips out planned daily for our residents.

Residents are encouraged to personalise and make the space their own with the on-site care team taking time to get to know them, their preferences and desires.

Social activities

There’s something to suit everyone in our social activities programme, from entertainment, exercise and flower arranging to arts and crafts, coffee mornings, cooking and much more.

Dining

At Agincourt Care Home you will be served freshly prepared home cooked meals by our team of expert chefs. They ensure all our meals are healthy, nutritionally balanced and, most importantly, locally sourced wherever possible. Meals are served in our superb dining rooms, but you also have the option for food to be served in your room for a more private dining experience.

Bedrooms

There are 30 single bedrooms at Agincourt Care Home (although one can be used as a double room to accommodate a couple who wish to remain together), across the ground floor and the first floor. All our rooms have ensuites or washbasins in the room. Rooms without ensuites have accessible wetrooms and bathrooms nearby. We also have a jacuzzi bathroom upstairs.

Most of the bedrooms on the ground floor have direct access to our garden, with room for a table and chairs.

The bedrooms are a blank canvas for you to personalise with your own photos, pictures and furniture to help you feel at home. It also helps our care team understand what’s important to you, help in building a warm relationship.

Gardens

We have a lovely enclosed and secure garden with a large lawn and flowerbeds.

If you enjoy to watch the wildlife then our garden is a great place to spend a sunny afternoon watching the birds– in and around our enclosed pond and our bird feeders. You can also get involved in gardening, planting up hanging baskets and filling the bird feeders.

Our garden is a great spot for BBQs and garden parties in the summer.

Frequently asked questions

Living in a care home shouldn’t change your schedule. That’s why we don’t have set visiting times for family and friends. Your loved ones are welcome any time of the day and can even join you for a meal in our dining areas.

Many people living in our care and nursing homes receive regular visits from family and friends, who will often join in with daily activities, enjoy a cup of tea, or take their loved one out for the day.

Here at Agincourt Care Home, we offer tailored 24-hour a day respite care that allows you to continue living life your way with as much support you may need from our care team.

This could be a one-off stay, to give a regular family carer a much-needed break, or a regular arrangement to give you variety in your care. Our personalised care can last as long as you need it to and can start within 24-hours.

Our bespoke care and support is available for a single weekly fee. That includes care, accommodation, laundry, meals, housekeeping, social outings and more.

That means no additional charges or hidden fees, just consistent, all-inclusive support for a weekly fee.

When you move in to our home, you have the option to enjoy mealtimes in the communal areas with other residents, or to enjoy some private time in your room.

Our expert chefs prepare a daily menu with nutritious options for you to choose from based on your likes and dislikes. What’s more, our care teams are always on hand to support and encourage you at mealtimes, ensuring you get the nutrition and hydration needed.

If you would like to view our home then don’t hesitate to give us a call 01305 232981 and we would be happy to arrange a no obligation home visit. Alternatively, we have regular coffee mornings where anyone is able to pop in. This is great opportunity to get to know our team and residents.

Once you become a resident at our home, there are no set visiting hours, so your family and friends are free to come and go as much as they want.

Prior to your move in to our home, you’ll receive a free no obligation care assessment so we can understand your care needs and create a care plan that suits you best. Your family is welcome to join this process. This allows us to create a bespoke care package that allows you to have the best quality of life.

Plus, through our portal, you and your loved ones can easily check on your care with real-time updates on medication, nutrition, welfare, and more. Read notes from our care teams and keep tabs on the care you receive—all at the click of a button.
