Professional Care Workers’ Week (PCWW) aims to bring the care sector together to discuss the key challenges that lie ahead, but also to strengthen colleagues and champion the incredible care services provided.
The annual event is run by the brilliant Care Workers’ Charity (CWC), who support care workers past and present by providing financial support in times of crisis.
Now in its fifth anniversary, PCWW will be taking place 12th-16th September 2022 and will focus on the realities of working in the care sector in these unprecedented times.
We’ll be playing our part in the week’s festivities by encouraging our care teams to thank each other for their hard work and dedication. Whilst at head office, we are looking forward to a fundraising bake sale in aid of CWC on Tuesday 13th September.
Throughout the week, the CWC will be running a diverse programme of online talks, webinars and discussions from leading voices in the care sector, including Agincare Enable Managing Director Sarnjeet Banwait and Dual Registered Manager Filipe Requixa.
All events are free – you just need to sign up on the Eventbrite page.
