What service do you provide?

Agincare deliver hot, nutritious meals to your door, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. These meals can be plated if requested and assistance given where items need cutting. Agincare’s service is unique in that it combines delivery of healthy, nutritious and tasty meals to clients in their own home whilst providing a daily care check service; all supported by the knowledge and skills of a large care provider. We can also deliver frozen meals and snack meals in some areas.

What if I need to cancel?

You need to give us as much notice as possible if you think you are going to not want a meal on the day you have ordered it.

What if I am unhappy with my meal or the service?

Our local manager will be in regular contact with you about your satisfaction with our service. We also have a dedicated Quality Manager who will regularly review the service. Agincare has a formal complaints procedure which has various stages, but if you have any concerns or queries please direct them to the staff who deliver your meals, or to your local office. If necessary you can always call us at our head office on 01305 769418 and we will help you. We will talk to you about what you are unhappy with and work with you and/or your representative to address any shortfalls in our service or quality of food.

How do I choose my meal?

Once you have registered with our service, we will ask you about your needs and preferences regarding your diet. The local office will send you the menu we use for you to choose your favourite meal and dessert of each day. When you have ticked the choices the menu is returned to the office. If you do not want to make this kind of choice, or we do not get a completed menu back from you, we will always provide you with a meal of the day taking into account any special dietary requirements or preferences we know about.

What do I pay?

This depends on whether you are eligible for a subsidised meal service from your local authority (where available), and this varies greatly from area to area. Alternatively, all of our meals can be purchased privately. Prices on application to your local office.
