Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager who will oversee and supervise the organisations payroll functions.
This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, we have offices at Portland and Poole salary £45-£50,000

About the Role
In the role of Payroll Manager, you are the responsible person for ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately and in compliance with government regulations.
Key Duties;
- Implementing, maintaining and reviewing payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, pensions and other deductions.
- Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll updates, including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
- Preparing and maintaining accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
- Auditing the payroll to make sure it satisfies all government regulations.
- Managing and supporting the payroll team.
- Training and developing the payroll team.
- Attending meetings to support operations and other functions of Agincare.
- Leading on any payroll projects.
- Working with the management accountants to ensure payroll accounts are fully reconciled.
- Identifies and recommends updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.

About You
To be successful in this role, your key attributes include;
- You must have a comprehensive understanding of Tax and Payroll.
- Previous experience in managing a team, with good organisational and planning skills.
- CIPP level 5 (minimum) or equivalent.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to build strong professional relationships.
- Right to work within the UK
- Experience with Payroll software, along with all Microsoft applications
