Job Description
Agincare, trading under the company name Training Now are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Childcare Assessor due to the rapid growth of their team.
Training Now provides all the essential training and development to care assistants, support workers and other healthcare staff to ensure excellent quality care to their services.
This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, based remotely with travel required to visit and support caseload.
£26,000-30,000 DOE plus benefits including:

About the Role
The Childcare Assessor is responsible for creating an individualised, unique learner journey for a caseload of apprentices undergoing childcare or early years qualifications,
They will tailor the delivery of their training to the individuals' needs and requirements in order to ensure that all work is completed by the courses' agreed end dates. Following this they will have development conversations to assist their cohort with making informed decisions on the next steps of their learning journeys or careers.
They will liaise with employers to review the progress of their cohorts and deliver key performance matrices to managers and compliance colleagues. By doing this, they will identify opportunities to sign up new apprentices in line with the needs of the employers.
About You
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training or above (or equivalent)
- English and Maths at Level 2 or above
- Demonstrable recent experience in training and apprenticeship delivery
- Great communicator, planned, organised and enjoy working in a team;
- You must be willing to travel on occasion, have a full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle for work.
Desirable qualifications;
- ITQ / IT qualification at Level 2 or above
- A1 Level 3 Award in Assessing Candidates Using a range of methods or equivalent
- V1 Level 4 Award in Conducting Internal Quality Assurance of the Assessment Process or equivalent
- Preparing to Teach in the lifelong learning sector (PTTLS) L3 or above or equivalent
- Level 3 NVQ in Advice and Guidance or above
