Agincare Newton Abbott are looking for Rapid Response Care Assistants to join our team and help us make a difference to the lives of vulnerable people, providing support to live independently in their own homes around your local area and community.

Hours: Full time, Part time & Alternate weekends - Hours to suit you,

Alternative weekends are a requirement.

Location: –  Newton Abbott , Paignton &Torquay 

£500 welcome bonus!

• £11 per hour weekdays, £11.50 weekends - Salaries Considered 
• You will be required to drive and have access to your own vehicle

About the Role

You will be joining our team to visit clients living in their own homes, providing support to help them live a more independent life and more choice. You will provide immediate, short term service over a seven day period between 07.00-22.00.

Your support will be to adults who have an acute physical health crisis or a sudden breakdown in care needs.

We support safe discharges from hospital, as well as preventing admission to hospital or to a residential or nursing home.

Duties involved will include personal care, clinical duties, activities and monitoring the clients condition.

• Carry out person centred care assessments of clients’ needs to support reablement.
• Provide a programme of support 
• Supporting clients and helping them relearn skills and regain their independence
• Write clear, concise reports on the client’s progression
• Liaise with healthcare professionals
