The role of the Senior Extra Care Assistant is to provide care and support to people and to support and lead a team of care workers within the Extra Care scheme.

• Earn £17.500 per annum as a Senior Extra Care Assistants

• Full time (36 hours), Mon-Fri & Alternate Weekends

About you

We are looking for Senior Extra Care Assistants to join our team and help us make a difference to the lives of vulnerable people, providing support to live independently in their own homes within our Extra Care Scheme, Silkin Court.

• You don’t need to drive 

• You must have care experience

• You must be passionate and motivated 

We offer fully-funded training and career development opportunities for all regardless of experience in social care (training programmes up to and including Level 5).

A typical day in the life of a Senior Extra Care Assistant will help support our customers in a variety of ways depending on their needs, this could include, providing personal care, Medication management, Light Domestic Duties, Meal Prep, Shopping & Companionship.

Through regular communication, continuous monitoring and review, ensuring that a person centred, effective and high-quality service is delivered to every service user, enabling them to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible.
