CareTalks - understanding care

Free events for helping to understand care in Dorchester

Making decisions about how best to care for our relatives or dependents is one of the most important things we will do in life. That’s why we have curated and will host a series of free talks, events and community information meetings for people in Dorchester and the surrounding area, who want to be informed to make the right choices about care. You are warmly invited to attend any or all of our events. You will receive a great welcome from our friendly team and each meeting is set up to include a different speaker with expert knowledge in a range of care-related subjects.

Action on Hearing Loss - 3rd April 2019 at 6pm

Action on Hearing Loss (formerly RNID) will give a friendly talk on the subject of hearing loss, including such prevalent conditions as Tinnitus. The talk will show how prevalent hearing loss has become and discuss strategies for dealing with it, so avoiding loneliness and isolation. There will also be tips for better communication, and a chance to ask questions on anything to do with the subject, ideal for those with hearing loss themselves, and those interested in finding out more.

Please let us know if you would like to join us for this helpful FREE discussion event by calling our CareTalks team on 01305 262192. We'd love to see you there!
