When my father smiled all day

My father had been in hospital for weeks awaiting transfer to a new care home. We visited Cheriton and immediately knew for certain that this lovely, bright house with a charming garden and such delightful staff was the one and Dad smiled all day. It was such a relief to know that he was moving there. Thank you so much, Agincare, for arranging everything so quickly and for everyone's welcome on the day Dad moved to Cheriton Care Home.

Just what we needed

Had a ‘wonderful’ carer who as my Mum’s husband was dying remained solely focussed on large wipes and bed pads. She carefully reminded my Mum that she wouldn’t go to heaven and be with my Dad if she didn’t behave. Just what we needed at the worst of our times for our family.

Professional and very caring

Excellent service provided all the way through the process of setting up live in care for my Nan.
She is now receiving the best care from her own home. We can’t thank you enough for making our Nan comfortable and putting us all at ease

Choosing the correct care home is hard…

Choosing the correct care home is hard work but we liked both Victory and Admiralty, the head office team were very supportive and the Victory staff have been brilliant in supporting the family, thankyou

Great service

Agincare staff have been fantastic with allocating emergency care workers (at very short notice) for my elderly dad after he was discharged from hospital, having had a very bad fall. Their friendly staff kept me up to date with their progress, right up until the care was put into place. I have met some of the care workers, all of whom are happy, kind and considerate. It is clear that they enjoy the work they do. Agincare’s swift action gave me peace of mind, thank you Agincare!

Respite for Dad

My Dad has just started a spell of respite today for 3 weeks. So far all seems to have gone well. It’s his first time away from my mum following a diagnosis of Vascular Dementia which is steadily worsening.
The process was made very easy by very caring and helpful staff who have made this transition an easy one in a difficult an emotional situation….. thank you so much Agincare

From start to finish my experience with…

From start to finish my experience with Agincare has been excellent. I was treated like a human being and my needs and requirements were listened to and a Care Home selected which is perfect for my husband. Demi went out of her way to help and always followed up and through, calling back to check and confirm. Absolutely brilliant! Thank you.

After a long stay in hospital mum was…

After a long stay in hospital mum was discharged with wraparound care provided by Social services. Charlie mums carer was absolutely fantastic with mum. She not only provided care and support with helping mum settle back home but also helped mum gain her confidence back after being in hospital for 4 months. She treated mum with respect and helped her all aspects of personal care. Mum settled back home only with the support Charlie provided. Thank you so much Charlie for looking after mum so well xx

Excellent support and communication

The support that we have received from everybody at Agincare since making contact at a difficult family time has been excellent. No request has been too difficult for the team and all of our needs have been met or exceeded. Communication has been excellent.

Admiralty House respite stay Dec 23-Jan 24.

My father stayed at Admiralty House for 6 weeks of respite following a prolonged hospital stay and rehabilitation. He was very happy there and when he left mentioned that he felt he was saying goodbye to friends.
Everyone at the care home knew his name and always asked after him. They always had time for a chat and a laugh and that cheered him up immensely. I visited my Dad every day of his stay and all the staff and carers were friendly and helpful and very efficient- they are kind hearted and genuinely caring people.

Agincare were helpful and efficient from the very first day I contacted them. They were always available to chat to and discuss any concerns. I cannot fault the service we received nor the wonderful care and help extended to my Dad. They were all instrumental in his progress to recovery and his future health and mobility. He genuinely misses them all.

Very good service in general, excellent at critical times

Agincare has done a very good job in looking after both of my elderly parents who had different types of dementia. They handled situations which could sometimes be challenging and could move with all necessary speed to replace care workers if someone had to leave at short notice. On the whole, the service has been excellent.

Charlee Williams deserves a special mention for having given the highest quality of end-of-life care to my father and then helped to prepare the house for my mother to return after a time in hospital. She is one of the very best care workers and we were very lucky to have her to look after Dad in his last days.

Admission of our Mum

The staff at Agincare have been so helpful and professional in arranging a room for our Mum at Gainsborough Care Home. She had been given short notice to evacuate her present home as it is closing down suddenly.
So impressed by the speedy feedback and communication in arranging this transfer such as contracts etc. This has been an emergency situation and we are very grateful. We look forward to Mums admission at the end of the month.

It's great having regular times and…

It's great having regular times and shorter visits for my father who has dementia. Carers are friendly and get the jobs done without fuss fitting in with our family plans and meal timetable. Minus point of being given a work schedule which was nothing like what was actually delivered causing worry for my sister.

The staff were very knowledgeable and…

The staff were very knowledgeable and were able to answer any questions that we had.
The finance team were a great help in providing the details for me to use an international bank transfer to pay the initial payments.
My mother has expressed how happy she is and how kind and friendly all of the staff members are.

Agincare was responsive and caring

Agincare were very responsive when I left a message asking for a call. They were very helpful and provided detailed information which helped is decide which provider to appoint to care for my parents. They made it clear what the arrangements would be, and did not pressure us to use them.

Everyone has been friendly and courteous.

I have been with Agincare for the past…

I have been with Agincare for the past 5 years and I had a difficult experience with a client abuse from the client.
I call my manager Gemma Mason and the social worker Francis loader for support, honestly I really appreciate their immediate support.
Gemma and Francis calling to check on me to make sure am ok and safe and they both came to my placement early in the morning.
I could not have ask for more with the support, advice and also talking to me and listening on how I feel was amazing 😊
I felt safe when I saw Gemma and Francis this morning and appreciated all the support.
This is my first time being this situation and Francis ( Social worker) and Gemma Mason were very supportive and that was great.
I was knew Agincare care for their staff and carers and Agincare deserves 10 stars 🌟 😊
I thank everyone that I didn’t mention their names in Agincare and social services that contributed their support in this situation .
