Testimonials

Let's be proud of what we do in social care, let's share the good things that happen and let's remind people to Believe in Good Care.

To all my night carers, I would like to thank you for all you have done for me.

Ena is a lovely lady.  Nothing is too much trouble.  She is so helpful and always cheerful.  I couldn’t wish for a better care workerI feel at ease and safe with her.

J is so thankful to ALL the carers and that we're all angels.  Absolute angels.

I was impressed by the consideration that was taken in making sure the care package was going to be successful rather than just putting it in place sooner without due regard.  You have been honest and open from the outset which has helped. The training of all the carers was ensured before the package stared properly and the opportunity to meet with the carers and for the carers to meet with TS and her family was very person centred and helpful.  This gave the family the reassurance they needed and gave the opportunity to really talk about the detail and what is important to TS and her family.  Contact details were shared and communication has been really good.  I want to thank you for the preparation and effort that has gone into putting this care package into place.  The family have fed back that they are happy with the care and carers.

I received high quality care from her.  She is very meticulous and supported me the way I wanted to be supported and cared for.

D called to say Georgia was fabulous.

Wow! 10 out of 10!  Well done and thank you so much.

How wonderful Rhys and Tracey are with her grandmother and how they go above and beyond the call of duty all the time.

Christina cared for me, helped me to the doctors and explained what I've been going through with the hospital.  She helps me with my creams and tabletsI could not manage without her.

Can you please pass our thanks to the carers and staff involved with the care of my dad.

Gemma is lovely.  Can mum have her often? She's a great carer. Gemma has great potential as a carer.

Very pleased with the carers.  She fed back that Emma is brilliant and is happy with all the carers and their support.  I wanted to thank you and the carers for all the support you are giving T and the family.

John is excellent.  He's always on time and even the dog likes him!

A very special thank you to Dianne who seemed to know instinctively what help dad needed and when.  She is so kind and exceeded in her job. She is both caring and professional in her work.  Dad felt safe in her care  and also respected.  On her shifts she improved his quality of life and dignity.  Thank you.

To all you lovely care workers who have been there for me and done a wonderful job, so polite and nothing too much.  I will miss you all.  Good luck and God bless.

I want to thank you (Noel) from the bottom of my heart for your help; this indeed was useful.  As you know I am a great fan of Agincare.  I have a  wonderful bunch of carers and some wonderful people that work in the office and of course to have you as manager.

The carers are from Agincare and I have no complaints at all - absolutely fantastic.

I would like to place on record my thanks for the way the Agincare team responded when my mother suddenly damaged her knee last month resulting in increased pain, compromising her continence and potentially her pressure area integrity because my father was unable to transfer her by himself as he usually does.  She also had several falls during this time.  Once it became clear that they would need extra help for longer than I could provide it myself, I approached the Team Leader on duty to see  what might be possible.  Jenny miraculously somehow worked things so that you were able to provide us almost immediately with 2 hourly personal assistance calls during the day, as well as an early morning and put to  bed call. This plan was sustained for 6 days until the knee could be injected with cortisone which enabled Mum  to recover her mobility quickly.  I am not sure we could have kept Mum home without this helpDad certainly could not have coped alone, but I did not have to cancel a long-planned holiday knowing that my parents  were safe and had the support they needed.  The night staff also responded quickly on each occasion when Dad had to pull the emegency bell due to falls and enlisted the help of the Hereford Falls Team appropriately to access the use of their specialist equipment.  One much welcomed 'side effect' of this recent situation is that Dad has not cancelled the early morning and put to bed calls and  my sisters and I are thrilled that he at least seems to be accepting the extra help for Mum that we have long thought would benefit them both. My mother says to me not infrequently "I like the ladies who come to see me, they are very kind" and it is nice to hear Mum and the carers chatting and laughing together.

We would like to thank all concerned for the tremendous effort put in to looking after R on his return home after 64 days in hospital.  With the support and encouragement of the carers R has regained much of his strength and mobility.  Please do thank everyone for their support over the last 2 weeks or so.

Thank all the girls and staff at Agincare Weymouth for looking after me so well at my son's home.  Hope to see you next year.  Yours, with thanks again.

Many thanks to you and your team.  I can't tell you how comforting it is to know that my dad is in such a great setting with such lovely support staff.

Just a quick note to thank the whole team for the great care that you have all given to P and the help that you have been to C and me.  You are all different and operate in different ways, but you all provided a great level of care and support for which we are all very grateful.

Another perfect week. Well done and thank you so much.

The office is so relaxed and organised lately and the atmosphere is fantastic.  She wanted to comment on how well the team are working together.

Fejra has been excellent in her care of B , really helpful and supportive, patient and always on time - this is so much appreciated.     Danielle is good, attentive and supportive of B's needs.

I have a particular debt of gratitude to Weymouth dom care who took care of my father for his final years, allowing us 2 years extra quality time with him that we otherwise would not have had.

I am phoning to thank you so much for all the support you are giving to A.  His appearance, his hygiene, his home and the progress he is making is just amazing and its all down to Clare and Matt.  You work so hard with him, you support him more than 100% and the guidance you are giving him is just phenomenal.  He speaks very highly of you and knows you are there to support him no matter what.  Without your continuus hard work A was possibly going to be evicted with his rent arrears and the standard of his home.  The house is spotlessly clean and I know Clare and Matt have given their own time to this to support with his hoarding and he has the confidence in them to reduce this down to just having what is needed.  I feel I have to express my gratitude as the wellbeing officer and I know his sister is highly impressed with your high standard of care.  Keep up the good work guys.

Lovely girls that come in and see B. Just a short letter to say thank you for what you are doing for B.  You are all brilliant and superstars and the care package is going very well.  I am very happy with it.  I love you all.

Thank you doesn’t sound enough for all that everyone did for D.  18 months ago when she came out of Swindon hospital we all thought she wouldn’t recover but, with the hard work of the care team, she did. Hopefully she will enjoy her time at MC where it seems she is settling quite happily.  She now has lots of company and will eventually join in some of the activities - even if it is only singing!  Thank you all once more - especially to Helen who got me through the last day. I couldn't have done it without her

I'd like to say a big 'thank you' for making the Brooke Mead garden party a success.  It really was lovely to see the community coming together in such a happy, inspiring way and everyone was happy!  The music was great and many of us had tears in our eyes at how moving it was.  Its a pleasure to work with you and, without you, this wouldn't have happened in the way it did.  Here's to more activities in the future.

I thought I would write and commend Elaine who has been looking after my daughter D for many months. My daughter is disabled and very untidy.  I have met Elaine on several occasions and watched her work.  She is quick and efficient and doesn’t need to be told what to do.  Apart from the usual help carers give, she has also given D help with sorting her many boxes of books and clothes which came with her from her last address.  This has not been an easy task as D is one of those people who cannot bear to throw anything away so it has needed tact and consideration during the sorting.  D has constant pain and is depressed, but each time Elaine visits her she has felt cheered and comforted.  There is little I can do from this distance, but I thought that at least I could write a letter of appreciation and thanks to you.

The care Mrs B received was first class in a very difficult situation.  A great help to me as well.  I would recommend Agincare to anyone and would use myself if necessary.

I just wanted to drop a note of grateful thanks to the many carers that assisted my dad. I am well aware that dad couldn’t have lived out his last months and weeks in his own home without the work that you all did.  I had time with dad, some good, but that couldn't have happened if he hadn't been here at home.  Its hard to give special recognition to any one individual because all were kind and all were valuable and all were needed. Also a huge thank you to Robin who was here at the end with me, his calmness, professionalism and kindness made a horrible situation bearable for both myself and the other carer with him. We all have many life experiences, some we would choose to forget but, when there is geniune kindness, even the hardest situations are worthy of remembrance.  I wish you all every success both professionally and personally.  Dad always lived each day with a zest for life.  I wish you had known that man.  He would want you all to live enjoying your lives and continuing to bring happiness into your clients' lives.

I would like to say a big thank you to Sharron on the intense way she cares for R. She is outstanding and you should be very proud to have her in your team. We very seldom say thank you. I feel very humble to your team for the work they do.  Thank you.

Thank you for looking after me and all the early morning wake-up calls!

She would like to say that R is a fantastic carer and built up a great relationship with an old man that was hard to respond to.  He looked forward to her visits and the way she cared for dad was fantastic.

Lovely compliment from JB regarding his wife's care.  He said Helen treats S like a queen.

To all the carers who looked after our mother, especially Kelly.  A very big thank you for all their kindness shown.

I was approached by a lady who was complimenting Agincare's services and, in particular, our care worker Diana who looks after B.  The lady who approached me is, I believe, his daughter.

Many, many thanks to you all for your kindness and care and friendship while attending T.  Sorry to lose you all.  Good luck for the future.
