Testimonials

We are proud to receive many compliments from people who use the services we provide.

We believe in good care

We created the ‘We believe in good care’ campaign to remind existing and prospective staff, customers, carers and partner organisations what good social care means to the lives of those who receive it.

Negative stories about illness and ageing in modern society, with social and health care scandals and allegations of poor care often hit the headlines. There often seems focus on what has gone wrong, rather than what goes well.

Consequently, we have a demoralised, as well as diminishing, care workforce, we put off prospective applicants to the care sector and we risk frightening people who need care and support.

NHS and health care staff promote and protect their work far better and it seems that the lack of professional recognition that social care and support work has often prevents us from doing the same.

We are proud to receive many compliments from people who use the services we provide. These are often verbal, either directly to the frontline workers or to local offices, but many people take the time to put in writing what our service has meant to them and their families at critical times.

We would like to share these with you on this page, to show our support of social care and our pride in the vital and demanding work undertaken by our staff.

The 2 gentlemen cared for my Grandmother for around 10 days, 3 times a day and they were absolutely wonderful. They maintained her dignity and spoke to her kindly and comforting. After the care was given they took the time to speak to us instead of just rushing out to the next job. This really helped my family when we were going through a very difficult time. My Grandmother was battling a brain tumour and sadly passed away on Saturday. We didn’t think we would see the boys again and on Monday, there was a knock at the door, it was Brony and Dennis with a big bunch of flowers and a card for us. They had clearly come out of their way (we live in the middle of nowhere) to pay their respect to our Grandmother who they had only known for 10 days.

Thank you all very much for looking after our mum. We really appreciate everything you have done for her. Although she was reluctant to go into a care home, she was actually very happy once she got there! And we were very happy for mum to be living there, as you were all very helpful, caring and kind to mum and to us!

I can’t thank you enough for the care you gave Mum throughout her time with you, particularly in her final weeks. You treated her with kindness, dignity and respect and we will be always grateful o you all.

With all the doom and gloom around at the moment, I just wanted to take the time to say home wonderful the care is that Mum and Dad are getting now. Dad is finding things so much better with having the same carers in daily and Mum is getting more chance to get to know them. Penny and Lucy are so lovely and have been looking after them brilliantly, so I just wanted to say thank you really.

Liliana is highly compassionate in her care delivery and its blatantly obvious that Audrey feels very secure in her interactions with Liliana. I have no doubt despite Audrey’s advanced dementia and no cognitive capacities their is a very special and meaningful human bonding between Audrey and Liliana that does not exist with any other.

I would like to take this opportunity to let you know how happy I am with the care my mother is receiving from Agincare. Your staff show her (and my father) such care & compassion.

Your carers work hard towards improving mums home life & dealing with her complex needs. They all take time to get to know mum & how best to care for her. They are also very thoughtful towards my father.

My main aim is to keep my parents together in their own home for as long as possible & these lovely ladies are really helping us do this.

My dad was a resident here until we, unfortunately, lost him. The staff were absolutely fantastic for the 2 years that he spent here. He was treated with dignity and respect from the moment he arrived. I could not have asked for a better place for my Dad to spend the last 2 years of his life.

An outstanding, professional service, with truly dedicated, attentive staff. Thank you Agincare, for helping our father of 82 return home for the first time in 6 months, and see him smile again.

Our experience of Agincare live-in care has been excellent, from the speed they have put an emergency care package in place (numerous occasions) to the quality of care and understanding from the support workers.

Emma is always prompt, conscientious, unfailingly polite and is a fantastic ambassador for your company. She understands and works around my mother’s little quirks while at the same time providing companionship and care of the highest quality. She has developed a truly special relationship with both my mother and our family over the years and it is a huge relief to us to know that someone is taking care of her in such a respectful and caring way.

My mother has dementia and is very difficult. Her carer is patient and does what my mother will allow her to do. She also gives support to my Dad who is finding the whole experience very difficult.

From the moment we met Joshua and Dabadeji we could feel the friendliness and caring in them. They are really good with my Dad who is receiving end of life care, they have to put up with a lot from him. Both of them keep us informed about any problems, medication, and needs Dad has. Having two such caring people looking after him makes it less stressful for us, we know he is being well looked after and when we go to see him we are met with calm and friendliness. Well done Agincare you have been brilliant with everything.

Blenheim is a lovely home with very caring staff. They demonstrate respect and compassion at all times as well as being friendly, helpful and fun. Residents are involved in regular activities which stimulate exercise and are fun. Everywhere is kept immaculately clean and fresh. In my opinion for a care home, it is as good as it gets!

Excellent care home – the staff are so caring and nothing is too much trouble. My Mum is so happy. She tells me she wishes she moved here years ago!
