We are proud to receive many compliments from people who use the services we provide.
We created the ‘We believe in good care’ campaign to remind existing and prospective staff, customers, carers and partner organisations what good social care means to the lives of those who receive it.
Negative stories about illness and ageing in modern society, with social and health care scandals and allegations of poor care often hit the headlines. There often seems focus on what has gone wrong, rather than what goes well.
Consequently, we have a demoralised, as well as diminishing, care workforce, we put off prospective applicants to the care sector and we risk frightening people who need care and support.
NHS and health care staff promote and protect their work far better and it seems that the lack of professional recognition that social care and support work has often prevents us from doing the same.
We are proud to receive many compliments from people who use the services we provide. These are often verbal, either directly to the frontline workers or to local offices, but many people take the time to put in writing what our service has meant to them and their families at critical times.
We would like to share these with you on this page, to show our support of social care and our pride in the vital and demanding work undertaken by our staff.
My dad was a resident here until we, unfortunately, lost him on the 25/6/19. The staff were absolutely fantastic for the 2 years that he spent here. He was treated with dignity and respect from the moment he arrived. I could not have asked for a better place for my Dad to spend the last 2 years of his life.

Agincare were an absolute pleasure and stress relief when helping with our care needs. The team were punctual and polite when coming out for assessment. Very quickly arranging an appropriate and comfortable room for some respite care, treatment with dignity. Credit to the caring community! Would definitely recommend.
An outstanding, professional service, with truly dedicated, attentive staff. Thank you Agincare, for helping our father of 82 return home for the first time in 6 months, and see him smile again.
Our experience of Agincare live-in care has been excellent, from the speed they have put an emergency care package in place (numerous occasions) to the quality of care and understanding from the support workers.
Emma is always prompt, conscientious, unfailingly polite and is a fantastic ambassador for your company. She understands and works around my mother’s little quirks while at the same time providing companionship and care of the highest quality. She has developed a truly special relationship with both my mother and our family over the years and it is a huge relief to us to know that someone is taking care of her in such a respectful and caring way.
My mother has dementia and is very difficult. Her carer is patient and does what my mother will allow her to do. She also gives support to my Dad who is finding the whole experience very difficult.
From the moment we met Joshua and Dabadeji we could feel the friendliness and caring in them. They are really good with my Dad who is receiving end of life care, they have to put up with a lot from him. Both of them keep us informed about any problems, medication, and needs Dad has. Having two such caring people looking after him makes it less stressful for us, we know he is being well looked after and when we go to see him we are met with calm and friendliness. Well done Agincare you have been brilliant with everything.
Agincourt is a home from home, lovely en-suite rooms with all your own things around you. Even hubby’s dogs can come along to visit which is wonderful for him. The care cannot be faulted compassionate, dignified and extremely thoughtful 24/7.

Blenheim is a lovely home with very caring staff. They demonstrate respect and compassion at all times as well as being friendly, helpful and fun. Residents are involved in regular activities which stimulate exercise and are fun. Everywhere is kept immaculately clean and fresh. In my opinion for a care home, it is as good as it gets!
Excellent care home – the staff are so caring and nothing is too much trouble. My Mum is so happy. She tells me she wishes she moved here years ago!
Staff are very friendly/caring and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Despite his dementia dad has a good rapport with his carers. Manager willing to turn his hand to anything to help his staff look after the residents.
We visit every week or two. The food always looks delicious. The staff are welcoming, friendly and fantastic with the residents, always kind and caring. We are also impressed by the amount of activities that are arranged.
My dad is here for respite for a few weeks. We are really impressed with the level of care he has received. He feels safe and well looked after which is what he wanted. We can’t thank you enough for all your help.
Excellent, caring rest home. Staff are very efficient and pleasant, management very good and approachable. The meals are excellent. General cleanliness is good. I am very pleased my Wife, who is well looked after, resides here.
My mum is treated with compassion and respect which is so important to me. I am delighted to say that in many ways my mum has blossomed as she gained more confidence. I can see that my mum is popular with all the carers and that means the world!
My mother has recently been admitted to nursing care at Peterhouse. The staff have made a difficult situation so much easier every step of the way. Thank you.
The care my dad has received during the two years he has been here has been fantastic. The staff are all very polite, caring and friendly.
This is a delightful home that has the welfare of my sister first and foremost in all that they do. The staff are all lovely. They engage with my sister and treat her with compassion and respect. The management lead by example and ensure that the home runs smoothly at all times. I couldn’t wish for a better environment for my sister.
My Mum has been a resident of Victory Care home for about 18 months. I can’t speak highly enough about the care she receives. Her room and the amenities are very good. The staff are friendly, helpful, polite and caring.
