Agincare Care Workers Runners Up in National Home Care Awards

BRIDPORT WORKERS RUNNERS UP IN NATIONAL CARE AWARDS

On 31^st May 2008, two members of the Agincare Bridport team were presented with Runners Up Awards at a Gala Dinner to celebrate The Ceretas Annual Home Care Awards  in London. 

The winners, Tony Nott, Care Worker and Jan Raven-Giles, Registered Manager, have provided support to vulnerable adults throughout the local area, since the Agincare office opened in the town in 2004. 

Ceretas, the Professional Association dedicated to individuals working in Home Care, hold an Annual Awards Ceremony in London to promote best practice within home care and pay tribute to individuals who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their field of work. 

Derek Luckhurst our Chairman and CEO stated “To reach the finals for the Ceretas Awards was a huge honour, and I am thrilled that Tony and Jan have been presented with Runners Up Awards in their individual categories. Both Tony and Jan are excellent representatives of their profession and work hard to ensure vulnerable adults in their care can remain as independent as possible.  Both have also gained experience in the particularly challenging area of palliative care. They truly are an inspiration to us all.”
